Start: Lac Vieux Desert Dam, 4:46am, September 5th, 2024. We recommend future FKP attempts start above the dam where the river meets the lake (and portage around the dam shortly after starting).

Boat: Two different boats; first a Northstar Northwind 16 foot IXP canoe for 13 miles, then an 18.5 foot Crozier marathon racing canoe. Note: We will not accept attempts that use more than one boat going forward; Kyle did his FKP run before our guidelines were created.
Note: Kyle’s time is listed elsewhere as 5 days,19 hours, 57 minutes. The discrepancy is because that is the time it took him to get to the Wyalusing State Park boat ramp, past the confluence.
